RALEIGH — School assignments for Wake County students waiting to see if they got into a school other than their assigned one will be released Friday.

Parents will be able to log on to the website to see the results starting in the afternoon. Meanwhile, enrollment for new students or students who have not made a choice is still available.

Traditional calendar schools start on August 27.
