RALEIGH -- Public Policy Polling released this month's results in the newest North Carolina poll Tuesday. It shows Mitt Romney narrowly leading President Barack Obama 48-46.

They said even though the lead is small, it is significant because it's the first time Romney has been ahead in the polling since October.
