NEVADA — Presidential candidate Mitt Romney pulled ahead of the Republican field last night with a big win in the Nevada caucus.

Coming off his win in Florida, Romney benefited from a big budget and organization in the Silver State, yet he also got a boost from Nevada's large Mormon population. In his victory speech, Romney pointed to his back to back wins as a sign of strength.

"This is not the first time you have given me your vote of confidence and this time I will take it all the way to the White House," said Romney.

While his chief rival Newt Gingrich vowed to fight on.

"I also believe that the vast majority of Republicans across the country are going to want an alternative to a Massachusetts moderate," said Gingrich.

On Tuesday, candidates will face off in three contests, a Missouri primary and caucuses in Colorado and Minnesota.
