DURHAM -- The Broadway hit Wicked is taking the stage in Durham this week. Crews let cameras in Tuesday to record parts of the load-in process and stage set-up.
The play centers around the untold story of the witches of Oz all before Dorothy came along. Members of the cast and crew say being a part of the show is like a dream come true.
"I went from regional theatre straight into a big show like Wicked, a wonderful show like Wicked, and, so yes it's more than a feather in my cap," said Kelly Anne Gray, the assistant company manager.
The blockbuster play starts Wednesday and runs through May 27 at the Durham Performing Arts Center.
