RALEIGH – “Wouldn't It Be Cool If...,” thats the slogan for more than 40 girls from the Raleigh Girls Club, who took a stab Wednesday at inventing the next big thing we can’t live without and thought about how science and math make their ideas realities.
“I think its fun. I think its a good way for us to come up with ideas because we will be the next leaders of the world,” said eighth-grader India Harris.
The event was sponsored by Time Warner Cable's STEM initiative to promote careers and education in science, technology, engineering and math.
