CHARLOTTE--The 11th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks is Tuesday and one Charlotte woman has a lot of baking to do.
Amy Gibson, with the help of family and friends, is baking cookies for firefighters at all of Charlotte's fire stations.
They said they'll need at least 225 dozen and they're almost there.
"I wanted to do something special for the firefighters, so I started baking for my fire station and then I thought it's not really fair to do just one fire station, so I took on all 42 and I called friends and family and they all helped," said Gibson.
This is the second year Gibson has baked cookies for the effort.
