CHARLOTTE – Police arrested two men in connection with an east Charlotte murder. Officers took Mark Grant, 19, into custody Tuesday night after he tried to avoid arrest.
Authorities said he hid in an overgrown field and got hit by an ATV as officers searched for him. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The other suspect, Jordan Poe, 20, turned himself in to authorities Tuesday morning.
Both men are accused in the shooting death of Christopher Corederow, 21, outside a home on Wilora Lake Road in June. Police said he was killed during a fight.
