RALEIGH — Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is back in North Carolina Saturday making stops across the state.
Gingrich has public events planned in Charlotte, Greensboro, Wilson, and Raleigh. Around 5 p.m. he will head to the Wilson City Fairgrounds for the Wilson GOP 2012 kickoff.
Gingrich is also scheduled to serve as the keynote speaker at the 2012 Raleigh tax day Tea Party hosted by Triangle Conservatives Unite. The event takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Halifax Mall.
Gingrich campaigned in North Carolina several times in the past week.
