DURHAM — The Durham County Swap Shop finished up its first week of business after being closed since 2008 due to misuse.

The shop closed because people dropped off items that were either soiled or broken but now all visitors must sign-in and tell the attendant what they're dropping off. The shop is located at the Redwood Solid Waste and Recycling Convenience site at Redwood and Electra Roads.

It is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
