RALEIGH—Wake County officials reopened the recreational swimming areas at Lake Wheeler Beach.

Health officials closed the lake for the fifth time this summer just last Friday due to high levels of bacteria. They retested the water on Saturday. It comes after all bacterial levels tested within set standards for two consecutive days.
