CARY, N.C — An 80-year old woman now faces charges after a deadly wreck in Cary in August.

Police charged Doris Upchurch with death by motor vehicle and failure to yield right-of-way in the accident. It happened August 24 on Davis Drive near Salem Church Road. Police said Upchurch turned in front of Tomoichi Cummings, 54, who was on a motorcycle. Cummings was taken to Duke Medical where he later died.

Upchurch is set to appear in court in November.
