RALEIGH -- A judge has agreed to allow Wake County deputies to keep sealed two search warrants in the beating death of a pregnant woman south of Raleigh.
Michelle Young, 29, was found dead Nov. 3, 2006, at her home near Lake Wheeler.
The News & Observer of Raleigh reported Judge Donald Stephens agreed to allow deputies to keep secret evidence they may have taken from homes where Jason Young, her husband, has lived since her death.
Investigators searched the home of Young's mother in Brevard and another relative in Etowah on Feb. 13.
The warrants had been sealed 90 days and Stephens extended that for 10 days Friday.
Jason Young said he was on a business trip when his wife was killed. No suspects have been named.
