RALEIGH— Beautiful weather is expected again on Monday and people are deciding to spend it outdoors.

Many people are choosing to spend their Labor Day at the various parks and lakes that our state has to offer. The Coble family and their friends spend the day boating at Falls Lake.
"Its great. I think its absolutely fabulous, great family time," said Linda Coble.

Jordan Lake is seeing a Labor Day boom. The water's crowded and camp sites are hard to come by. Park rangers said that nearly all of the camp sites have been booked up for the weekeend.

"We're pretty much filled up. We're having folks come in and waiting on sites to become available," said  Park Ranger Marcus Crossman.

In time for Labor Day, Lake Wheeler is open for swimming again. It had been closed because of high bacteria levels. Extra law enforcement is out, watching for drunk boaters and other safety concerns Many boaters said that they appreciate the extra eye, so they can safely enjoy a labor-free day on the water.

Rangers at Jordan Lake said this year's crowds are similar to last year's—which was one of the park's biggest Labor Day weekends in recent years.
