GREENSBORO, N.C. -- More than 25,000 people were in the Greensboro Coliseum this weekend for the annual Market America International Convention.
The Greensboro based internet marketing business uses technology to change the way people shop. This year's conference focused on social media and how it's changing the face of business. Greensboro native and Senior Vice President Loren Ridinger was joined by reality TV star Kim Kardashian and NBA legend Scottie Pippen who also support the company.
"I believe in their product and you don't stay in the game for 19 years unless you are doing something right," said Pippen. "So obviously, this company has big dreams and big goals and just happy to be apart of it."
As a part of this year's convention, Market American also launched its new NPO Program which allows nonprofits to take part in the company's Unfranchise Business program.
This is the 18th consecutive year that the conference has been held in the Triad.
