GREENSBORO — A Greensboro police officer who won back his job after a January 2009 suspension has been suspended without pay for a second time.
A.J. Blake told the Greensboro News and Record he was notified of his suspension and recommendation for firing on July 13. Blake lost his job last year following allegations that he assaulted his fiancee and the girlfriend of another officer.
A court convicted Blake on two counts of assault but he won his case on appeal, and later won back his job.
