CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities had to use a Taser on a woman who cut the drive-thru line at a Cumberland County McDonald's.

The incident happened Friday at the restaurant at Legion Road and Black and Decker Road in Hope Mills. The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Evangelina Merrero-Luka, 37, bypassed the order screen and went straight to the pick-up window, where she asked if she could order and pay there.

Employees say she refused to go to the back of the line and blocked the lane for 20 minutes. When deputies arrived, she became belligerent and deputies had to use a Taser.

Social workers took a 3-year-old child who was in the car into protective custody. Merrero-Luka is charged with second-degree trespassing.
