CHARLOTTE – A court appearance for the son of Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul has been delayed.
Nineteen-year-old William Paul was arrested Saturday at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport and charged with underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
The FAA says it is investigating whether Paul interfered with a flight attendant during the flight from Lexington to Charlotte.
US Airways says it did not serve alcohol to Paul during the flight.
Paul's court date is now set for next month.
