CHARLOTTE -- Bank of America is cutting jobs in its commercial banking sector. The positions are scattered across the division and in locations across the country. The cuts are not expected to have a significant impact on Charlotte.

A Bank of America spokesman said the company regularly reviews its businesses to make sure they're meeting customer needs.

Bank of America's cost-cutting moves will be more clear when it reports second-quarter earnings next week.
