CHARLOTTE -- The city of Charlotte ranked 18th in a list of the most stressful cities in the United States, according to the 2010 Stress Rankings for Metro Areas. Factors that contributed to stress levels included unemployment, inclement weather, housing costs, traffic, poverty, crime and pollution.

Detroit was named the most stressful city in the U.S. Raleigh made the list of the least stressful cities, ranking at number 47.
