MATTHEWS, N.C. -- Bringing cable TV into people’s home takes the work of thousands of people. And after a Time Warner Cable Tech Day event, kids from the Big Brothers Big Sisters program know a bit more about how cable works.
Saturday's event was part of the company's Connect a Million Minds initiative.
"Today we're going to give them a behind-the-scenes look at cable television and what we do at Time Warner Cable to deliver that to our customers throughout the Carolinas," said Dan Ballister, director of public affairs for Time Warner Cable.
Time Warner Cable is the parent company of News 14 Carolina.
