CHARLOTTE –Officials at two neighboring churches in west Charlotte say they may need to invest in security systems.
Liberty Baptist Church and Westmoreland Baptist Church were burglarized early Wednesday. Officials say the churches have been broken into five times in five years.
“We may add a little extra security, reactivate our alarm system,” Rev. Todd Marlow, of Westmoreland Baptist Church, said. “I hate to do that, but we may have to”
Nothing was stolen from Liberty. A big screen television was stolen from Westmoreland.
