Students arrested after fake bomb threat
CONCORD -- Two high school students were arrested on Wednesday morning for making a false bomb threat at J.M. Robinson High School.
Concord police say 16-year-old Lindsey Jordan and 17-year-old Paige Wauters made the call last Friday. Police and sheriff’s deputies then evacuated the school and determined that it was a false call.
Both girls are charged with making false threats concerning destructive devices. They were released to their parents on written promises to appear in court.
