Police search for missing woman
CHARLOTTE -- Police continued their search for a missing elderly woman Wednesday. Cora Roseborough, 73, went missing Tuesday afternoon after leaving her home in West Charlotte.
Family members of the missing woman said she suffers from dementia. Police believe she was last seen around Moores Chapel Road.
She is 5-foot-9 and weighs about 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white shirt, pink Capri pants and a blue sweater.
Police searched for her for several hours, focusing much of their search on an area off of Rhyne Road and used K-9 units, bloodhounds and helicopters, but police and firefighters weren't able to find anything before nightfall.
