SALISBURY, N.C. -- Khalil Abdul Farook, 50, turned himself in Tuesday night after being accused of a deadly hit-and-run accident. The highway patrol said Farook struck a motorcycle on Sunday on Airport Road in Salisbury and then took off.
The two people on the bike, Tommy Jones Jr., 47, and his wife, Suzette Jones, 48, from Granite Quarry, died at the scene. They leave behind five children.
Farook is charged with felony hit and run.
