DURHAM -- A man is in the hospital after someone shot him in what police say is an aggravated assault. Durham police say a suspect shot the victim in the neck as he sat in his car on Massey Avenue after 3 a.m. Sunday. That's near North Carolina Central University's campus.

Officers say the victim drove a couple blocks before he collapsed in his car and that's where emergency responders found him. They rushed him to Duke Medical Center but there's no word yet on his condition or who fired the shots.
