GREENSBORO – A third week of testimony is underway in the John Edwards' campaign finance trial. Monday, defense lawyers get their chance to cross examine the lawyer for heiress Bunny Mellon. He took the stand again after starting testimony Friday.

Prosecutors say Edwards used nearly $1 million of campaign donations from Mellon to cover up his affair with Reille Hunter during his bid for the White House in 2008.

The defense says the money was a gift.

Prosecutors are expected to finish calling witnesses this week. Edwards' attorneys will then present their case.
