GREENSBORO — Friday jurors returned a sentence of life in prison for Isaam Chaplin.
Jurors convicted him Tuesday of first-degree murder and armed robbery in the shooting death of Juan Salado of Charlotte. Prosecutors say Chaplin shot Salado at the Greensboro Old Navy store two weeks before Christmas 2008.
