CHARLOTTE -- Forrester Research released its annual customer advocacy rankings of nearly 50 financial services firms in the U.S. and Charlotte-based Bank of America ranked very poorly.

Of the around 4,500 consumers surveyed, only 33 percent of Bank of America customers believe the bank did what was best for them and not its bottom line.

Others at the bottom include Chase, Capital One, TD Commerce, Fifth Third, Citibank and HSBC.

Wells Fargo-Wachovia and Winston-Salem-based BB&T ranked slightly better than Bank of America.
