CONCORD – The crew out at Lowe’s Motor Speedway will usher in the holiday season Monday night by lighting a 50-foot Christmas tree.

Monday is also the night Speedway Children’s Charities distributes grants to local groups that help children in need.

Refreshments will be served beginning at 6 p.m., with the tree lighting set for around 6:20 p.m.
