Juror dismissed in Kathy Taft trial

More problems today with a juror in the capital murder trial for the man accused of killing state Board of Education member Kathy Taft. The same juror who postponed the trial on Monday failed to show up to court for the second day in a row. After a meeting with the attorneys, Superior Court Judge Paul Gessner replaced the juror with one of the two alternates.
