Chance to face only one charge
Antonio Chance faces a murder charge in connection with the death of Cynthia Moreland.
RALEIGH -- Wake County prosecutors have dropped all but one charge against the man accused of kidnapping and killing Cynthia Moreland.
Moreland disappeared last month from a parking deck in Raleigh. Her body was found more than a week later in Harnett County.
Antonio Chance did face kidnapping and other charges in connection with the case, but prosecutors believe the murder charge encompasses everything that happened from the time Moreland was kidnapped until her death.
