Chance charged with Moreland's murder

RALEIGH -- A man charged with the kidnapping of a Wendell woman will now be charged with her murder.
Raleigh police say registered sex offender Antonio Chance, 29, has been charged with murder in connection with the death of Cynthia Moreland.
Moreland, 48, had been missing since August 22nd when she failed to show up for work at the Progress Energy building in downtown Raleigh.

Her body was found behind an abandoned house in Harnett County on Friday. Officials have not released how she died.
Funeral services for Moreland will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Word of Faith Church at 3100 Sanderford Road in Raleigh. A visitation is scheduled for Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mt. Peace Baptist Church in Raleigh.
