WILMINGTON -- A Wilmington Boys and Girls Club bus overturned Wednesday, blocking portions of 16th and Dawson streets for about an hour.

Six children were on board. They were pulled to safety by bystanders and all are expected to be OK.

"There's a door that children usually walk outside of on a school bus, but they couldn’t just walk out because the door that they use to get out was pointing toward the sky, so we had to lift that door open for them to crawl on top of the bus and crawl out," bystander Avon Armfield explained.

Three other cars were involved in the crash. There's no word on a cause.
