Four-year-old Olivia and five-year-old Elana Perry were upstairs when the fire broke out and were not able to escape.
Their mother, Paula, and a 3-year-old sister escaped the flames, which had engulfed the garage and the front of the house by the time the first officers were on the scene, according to a statement from police Assistant Chief David Hearne.

Their father, Pat Parry, was not at home at the time
While the investigation into what started the fire is ongoing, authorities believe that it was accidental.
Hearne says emergency operators received a call at about 1 p.m. that a vehicle was on fire on Cyprus Court.
He says when crews arrived, they discovered that flames had spread from the garage to the house, and it was fully ablaze.
Officers tried to go inside the house but were pushed back by intense smoke and flames. Hearne says the bodies of the sisters were found inside once the fire was extinguished.
Stallings is located in Union County just southwest of Charlotte.
