CHARLOTTE -- The Democratic National Convention committee is figuring out how to transform Time Warner Cable Arena. Monday, volunteers spent the day doing inventory at the site of the first two days of September's convention.
They looked at every single piece of furniture to evaluate what's on hand, what can be used, and what needs to be restored following the convention. The arena will be shut down for a couple of months prior to the convention so construction crews can transform it from a sporting coliseum into the political arena.
