RALEIGH – North Carolina cities dominate the Forbes list of the Best Cities for Business this year.

Raleigh came in at second, dropping from the number one slot last year. Editors blamed a rise in the cost of living. Durham ranked 14th, Asheville 17th, and Charlotte came in 18th, up from 22nd last year.

Two triad cities also made the list. Greensboro ranks 72nd, and Winston- Salem ranks 79th.
