CHARLOTTE -- Hearst Tower has a new owner. Bank of America sold the 46-story uptown high-rise to Florida-based Parkway Properties for $250 million.
The bank announced earlier this year it was putting three buildings on the market: Hearst Tower, Fifth Third Center on North Tryon street and a building in New York.
The sales are part of an effort to streamline expenses. The bank will continue to lease space inside Hearst Tower.
