CHARLOTTE -- Bank of America is selling several buildings in Charlotte and New York City. It's selling the 46-story Hearst Tower on North Tryon Street, the Fifth Third Center on North Tryon and a building in New York it acquired with its purchase of Merrill Lynch in 2009.
The bank will still lease space in the Hearst Tower. Officials say the sales are part of an effort to streamline expenses.
