Highs today will head up into the mid and upper 80s across the region under a partly cloudy sky. While a couple of isolated showers or storm are possible, the vast majority of the area will be dry. Lows drop into the 60s tonight.
Offshore, an area of low pressure is developing, and that low could very well become our next tropical system. This will be the big weather player across the Southeast this holiday weekend.
I will keep the forecast dry and quite warm tomorrow with highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s. However, depending on how that potential tropical system behaves, a few showers and storms might be possible Sunday and Monday.
If you have beach plans, no reason to cancel at this point. However, just know that some rain and storms are quite possible from time to time.
