The Republican National Convention released its mobile app and Facebook app.

The app, called "Tampa 2012," is for iPhone, iPad and Android and has plenty of features to help delegates get around the Tampa Bay area, such as:

- Links to local news and weather reports;
- Pick-up locations for the convention shuttle;
- A scavenger hunt utilizing QR codes to explore convention venues;
- Videos and photos during the convention

The RNC is also releasing the official schedule, complete with speakers, through the app, one day at a time, beginning today.

The Facebook is reaching out to everyone who has Facebook, and the Republicans are asking folks to "share their American story" through video and photos.

The RNC is promoting their social media strategy as the "Convention Without Walls."
