SPENCER, N.C. — This is the last weekend people can visit the N.C. Transportation Museum in Rowan County without having to pay an entry fee.

The state budget will stop funding the museum after a two year transition period. Starting on July 1, the museum will have the following fee structure:

• Adults: $10
• Seniors and active duty military: $8
• Children ages 3 to 12: $6
