RALEIGH—A Raleigh man was one of more than 60 people killed in Uganda from explosions while they were watching Sunday’s World Cup final.
Nate Henn, 24, was a worker for California-based aid group Invisible Children. The group lists him as a native of Raleigh but he was most recently living in Delaware. The blasts went off in the country’s capital at a rugby club and Ethiopian restaurant.
Officials in the region say that they believe a militant group with links to Al-Qaida is responsible for the attacks.
