CHARLOTTE – About 400 Girl Scouts were at Discovery Place on Tuesday to get hands-on lessons in science and math related courses.
Scout Out was presented by Time Warner Cable as part of its Connect a Million Minds initiative that was launched in 2009 to help encourage kids to focus on science, technology, engineering and math.
Time Warner Cable pledged more than $11 million in cash and in-kind contributions during the next five years to support CAMM in North Carolina.
