WILMINGTON – Ten years have passed since Pamela Bradshaw disappeared from Wilmington.

Now her only child is back in town handing out fliers and meeting with the investigators on the case.

Nicky Allder made the eight-and-a-half hour drive from West Virginia by herself because she says something just pushed her to get in the car.

"I had been feeling it for couple days and I told my husband and my kids I will be back. I need to go do this for myself," said Allder.

Allder said she last saw her mom in September 2000, when she dropped her off at home. Residents in the area said they last saw her on Red Cross Road talking to someone in a blue car with a white top, but after that, her daughter said it was like she vanished.

"I normally call by the time I get home and she was already gone. She had left her pocketbook and I just figure a smoker will take their cigarettes no matter what, and she didn't even see that," said Allder.

Allder said her mom struggled with drugs, but she always saw the good in her. With Mother's Day right around the corner, Monica Caison, with the CUE Center for Missing Persons, said this time of year is even more difficult for children like Allder who have lost their mothers.

The CUE Center is working with Allder to keep the case alive.

"Her daughter needed her, and I think she knew that too. I think at the time in her life, everything was so positive there would be no reason for her to just walk out," Monica Caison with the CUE Center for Missing Persons.

Allder said she doesn't believe her mother is still alive. But good or bad, she is just looking for closure.

"Like I said, I just had that feeling to get here now," said Allder.

Bradshaw is a black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5'9" and about 110 pounds. She may go by the alias name of Denise Williams.
