CHARLOTTE – Members of the Temple Beth El community held a groundbreaking ceremony Sunday morning on Providence Road for the temple's renovated sanctuary.

Members and clergy dug into the area where their new sanctuary will be built. After their hard work, the group celebrated with ice cream and cake.
