CHAPEL HILL -- Dogs and dog lovers came out in the rain to play in Chapel Hill this weekend.
The Canines for the Cure agility trial showcased the talent of dogs to raise money for the National Canine Cancer Foundation. The event was sponsored by AARF, the Agility Addicts Rover Fanatics.
The NCCF is dedicated to finding improved methods for detecting canine cancer and treating and hopefully curing dogs of it.
Last year's event raised nearly $13,000 for the foundation.
